Poème : Kind of Blue

Miles Davis jouant de la trompette dans un tourbillon de bleus et d’or — Kind of Blue

Kind of blue

I had the sensation
Of something becoming thick
Of something happening fast

The sense of feeling
You get when you know
There is something beyond

A sense of chill
A sense of plain life
Plain ground
Plain happiness

Like a little yellow strike
On the edge of the painting
With large blue cottons
Surrounding a church
Something like that

Something very touching
And beautiful at the same time
Something that gets you

It was like a note
Of pure champaign in your vein
A taste of fruits, golden apple
Coming down your throat
Slicing all your sorrow
Into little pieces of black and round
Anger

And letting them all flow
Back into nature
Back into chaos

It was his sense of rythm
That gave you his sense of life

A life filled with music
That is like balloons on a dense deep sky scratching the itch you got on your back,
Scratching all those little bad spots
Until you are in heaven,
Opened like an orange
On a nice evening,
On the beach of a mountain lake,

Opening you to Heaven,

Opening you to an overflowing
Feeling sense of the world
Surrounding you,

Like a fresh look on a very old mansion

A castle,
Of bips and boops,
Of trumpet and piano,
Of pure happiness

And strawberries planted in the ground.
